FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for regulating the degree of enrichment of an air-fuel mixture in an internal combustion engine with controlled ignition. Near the full load, the degree of enrichment is adjusted according to the first value (r1) of the degree of enrichment for pre-cooling of exhaust gases. When the temperature (θech) of exhaust gases reaches the first threshold (θ1) of the temperature, which is lower than the second threshold (θ2) of the temperature, the value of the degree of enrichment is increased gradually, for example linearly, from the first value (θ1) of the degree of enrichment to the maximum of the second value (r2) of the degree of enrichment, at which the temperature of exhaust gases is equal to the second threshold (θ2) of the temperature. If the temperature (θech) of exhaust gases reaches the specified second threshold (θ2), before the degree of enrichment reaches the second value (r2) of the degree of enrichment, the degree of enrichment is immediately adjusted to the specified second value (r2) of the degree of enrichment.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the internal combustion engine by limiting the temperature of parts forming the exhaust circuit under heavy load.
