FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: in a method for partial restoration of SO2, SO2 flow, an oxidizer and gaseous fuel are fed into a burner, and a reaction is carried out in flame; the burner includes at least one hole for supplying SO2 flow, at least one hole for supplying the oxidizer and at least one hole for supplying gaseous fuel; and the burner includes nozzle head (1) with first injection systems (7, 8) and second injection systems (9). First injection systems (7, 8) are located in first section (4) of nozzle head (1), second injection systems (9) are located in second section (5) of nozzle head (1), and the stoichiometric ratio of SO2, fuel and oxidizer supplied through first injection systems (7, 8) differs from the stoichiometric ratio of SO2, fuel and oxidizer supplied through second injection systems (9). One or more of first and/or second injection systems (7, 8, 9) include: first channel (7a, 8a, 9a) for the oxidizer and second channel (7b, 8b, 9b) for fuel and/or SO2.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to partially restore SO2 and obtain stable flame during the reaction of SO2 with fuel and the oxidizer.
