SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular, to a method for determining the release rate of cefotaxime encapsulated in niosomes in vitro. A method for determining the release rate of cefotaxime encapsulated in niosomes in vitro, including encapsulation of cefotaxime in a niosomal dispersion, the cefotaxime niosomes are then placed in a dialysis bag transferred to a beaker containing a phosphate-buffered saline, the solution with the immersed dialysis bag is constantly mixed using a magnetic mixer, the solution is sampled after 1, 2, 4, 6, 24 hours, the analysed solution is diluted prior to analysis and filtered, the concentration of cefotaxime in the sample is determined by the method for reverse-phase high-efficiency chromatography in the isocratic elution mode no less than 5 times for each analysed solution under certain conditions.

EFFECT: above method provides a possibility to reduce the duration and labour intensity of the process of determining the release rate and increase the productivity thereof.
