OPHTHALMOLOGICAL FRAGMENTATOR BASED ON HIGH-FREQUENCY VACUUM OSCILLATIONS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61F9/07

Abstract RU 2755271 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. An ophthalmological fragmentator containing a working tool with a tip in the form of a hollow needle, configured to generate ultrasonic oscillations, an irrigation line and an aspiration line containing a rigid silicone tube whereto a pressure sensor for continuous evaluation of the vacuum level in the aspiration line is mounted and which is communicated with an aspiration pump, both communicated with the working tool. The ophthalmological fragmentator is equipped with a vacuum pulsation module including a high vacuum pump communicated with a high vacuum tank communicated with the rigid silicone tube of the aspiration line through a valve, and equipped with a three-position vacuum discharge valve communicated by a relief line with a relief valve with three relief holes with diameters 23G, 25G, 27G.

EFFECT: application of the invention provides a possibility to increase the efficiency of emulsification of the lenticular masses and the vitreous body by creating vacuum oscillations with step ascension and vacuum wave phases variable regardless of the vacuum pulsation frequency in the aspiration line.
