FIELD: catalysts.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing a process catalyst based on compounds of cobalt and ethylene-based oxosynthesis products, including interaction of ethylene with carbon and hydrogen monoxide in an autoclave reactor using a regenerated catalytic system based on cobalt compounds at elevated pressure and temperature. A solvent, a cobalt compound, a nitrogen-containing organic base such as pyridine or picolines, are therein loaded consecutively into the reactor, followed by purging with nitrogen and supplying carbon and hydrogen monoxide until a total pressure of 10 to 14 MPa is reached, heating the resulting mixture in the reactor at a rate of 10°C per minute to a temperature of 140 to 170°C, sustaining for 60 minutes at a pressure of 12 MPa, cooling, releasing excess pressure to atmospheric, re-purging with nitrogen and saturating the reactor with a mixture of carbon monoxide and ethylene to 8 MPa, adding hydrogen until a total pressure of 9 to 10 MPa is reached, heating the mixture to 90-170°C and sustaining at this temperature for 2 to 15 minutes, followed by releasing oxosynthesis products.

EFFECT: proposed method provides a possibility of processing ethylene and/or ethylene-containing gases formed during catalytic cracking, pyrolysis, dehydration of alcohols and other processes, under milder conditions of the process - reduced pressure and temperature.
