FIELD: insulation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a dispersible composition for manufacturing an insulation system for an electric machine, in particular, a rotating electric machine of the high-voltage or medium-voltage range, such as, e.g., a generator and/or an engine subject to higher rated voltages at operating voltages, those being, e.g., 1 kV or more, and to an insulation system manufactured therefrom. The method for manufacturing an insulation system includes dispersing and can be automated as a result. The composition has a dispersible resin mixture which is disperse, wherein if the dispersible composition gets on the substrate by means of heating and/or electrostatic attraction of the substrate, the viscosity increases, preventing the dispersible composition from flowing off the substrate again. The resin mixture, along with a monomeric and/or oligomeric, diepoxide, component of the resin based on carbon, also includes a monomeric and/or oligomeric component of the resin based on alkyl-/arylpolysiloxane.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the power density of rotating electric machines.
