SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an electrical aerosol generating system. An electrically controlled aerosol generating system contains: a charger containing a primary power source, and an extended aerosol generating device containing a secondary power source. The charger has a docking arrangement made with the possibility of engaging with the aerosol generating device. The docking arrangement contains a docking space formed between the first end and the opposite second end, located at a distance from the first end and fixed relatively to it. The docking space accommodates the longitudinal size of the elongated aerosol generating device. The docking arrangement contains a mechanical latch for holding with the possibility of disconnecting the aerosol generating device in engagement with the docking arrangement, or the docking arrangement contains a magnetic latch for holding with the possibility of disconnecting the device.

EFFECT: ease and increased speed of the user to insert the aerosol generating device into the compatible charger and remove it.
