SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to pediatrics, otorhinolaryngology, and is intended for physicians for the early diagnosis of rhinogenic intracranial complications in children. In children aged 1 to 17 years, in the presence of acute purulent sinusitis, a complete blood count is performed; leukocyte shift indices (IL) and allergization index (AI) are calculated using the formulas: LIL = (eosinophils + basophils + myelocytes + metamyelocytes + stab + segmented) / (monocytes + lymphocytes); IAL = (lymphocytes % + 10 x (eosinophils % + 1)) / (neutrophils % + monocytes % + basophils %); with a combination of indicators ISL 4.5 or more, IA 0.45 or less, intracranial rhinogenic complications are diagnosed.

EFFECT: invention provides a simple, effective, inexpensive diagnosis of intracranial rhinogenic complication in children.
