FIELD: vehicle movement control methods.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for controlling the movement of a vehicle. The method for controlling the movement of a vehicle comprises the steps of controlling the first autonomous change of lane, by means of which the vehicle in question changes lanes from the lane along which the vehicle in question is moving to the adjacent lane and sequentially perform control of the second and subsequent autonomous changes lanes, whereby the vehicle involved changes lanes from an adjacent lane to another adjacent lane in the same lane change direction, after performing the first autonomous lane change control from the vehicle's driving lane to the adjacent lane, lateral speed to control the second and subsequent autonomous lane changes are set to a lower lateral speed to perform the first autonomous lane change control.
EFFECT: increased vehicle driving safety.
