METHOD FOR MAKING CERAMIC MOLDS AND RODS ACCORDING TO PERMANENT PATTERNS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC B22C1/10 B22C9/04 B22C9/10 B22C9/12

Abstract RU 2760029 C1

FIELD: foundry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry, and in particular to methods for the manufacture of ceramic molds and rods from gelium suspensions according to constant patterns. A ceramic suspension is prepared based on a refractory filler and a silica binder. The basic silica binder is used as a silica binder, and powdered mullite with a particle size of 10-40 microns is used as a refractory filler. A gelling agent is prepared by cladding granular mullite with a particle size of 160-300 mcm with a mixture of a solution of alumborophosphate concentrate and calcium silicate in an amount of 2-4% of the mass of granular mullite. The gelling agent is introduced into the suspension with continuous stirring, the forming tooling is filled with the finished suspension and kept for curing the molds and cores in the tooling. After curing the molds and cores, they are processed in vacuum with a residual air pressure of 1400-2000 Pa. The models are removed from the mold or the rod from the tooling and calcined at a temperature of 350-600°С for 30-90 minutes.

EFFECT: reduced duration of forming and increased physical and mechanical characteristics of ceramic molds and rods to improve the quality of manufacture of precision castings, in particular, complex-shaped castings made of chemically active and heat-resistant alloys.
