FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. The invention is a method for preserving micro-plants of grapes under in vitro conditions, including cultivation of plants on a hormone-free medium in different modes and in different physiological states, the transfer of plants to a state of deep rest is modeled based on changes in the indicators of two factors: photoperiod and temperature, which makes it possible to successfully preserve plants in conditions of low positive temperatures (2-4°C) in the dark without transplants for one to two years.
EFFECT: invention can be used in viticulture, to maintain and preserve valuable genetic material in a vegetative collection, can be a source of primary health-improving material for mass production of seedlings of the “original” category for the purpose of laying elite (basic) queen cells.
