FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pigment with an optical effect, containing a set of layers and a magnetic element. Layers can be located in two packages of asymmetrical layers or in one package of layers and can contain at least one absorbing layer and at least one dielectric layer, as well as can contain a reflecting layer. The magnetic element is characterized with magnetization outside a plane relatively to a plane of pigment with an optical effect. The possibility of controlled deposition of pigment on printing substrate is provided, by means of which it is possible to pre-determine a side of pigment that will be directed face up or down on substrate.
EFFECT: thanks to the controlled deposition of pigment, it is possible to obtain different optical effects on each side of substrate.
