FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to a method for producing an antibody that binds to an antigen of interest. The method provides for cultivation of a host cell containing a sequence of a variable region of a human light chain that originated from B-cell of a genetically modified mouse that contains in its genome one or several human gene segments Vλ and one or several human gene segments Jλ, one or several human gene segments VH, one or several human gene segments DH, and one or several human gene segments JH, and an inserted nucleotide sequence that encodes protein ADAM6 or its functional fragment.
EFFECT: invention allows for effective production of an antibody that binds to an antigen of interest.
