FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to a mouse for the production of human immunoglobulin variable region sequences comprising an insert of one or more human gene segments VL and one or more human gene segments JL, the insertion of one or more human gene segments VL and one or more human gene segments JL and a nucleic acid sequence that encodes an ADAM6 protein to its cell and a hybridoma formed from said cell. Also disclosed is a method for producing an antigen-binding protein that binds to an antigen of interest using the above mouse. Invention also relates to a method for modifying a mouse immunoglobulin heavy chain locus for carrying out a mouse modification that reduces or eliminates the endogenous activity of ADAM6 in a male mouse, and performing a modification that includes inserting a nucleic acid sequence that encodes an ADAM6 protein into the mouse genome.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to efficiently obtain an antigen-binding protein.
