FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy. The device for continuous casting of hollow billets contains a one-piece mold (1) located in front of the split mold and closely docked with it. In the one-piece crystallizer on the mandrel (2), an internal water-cooled crystallizer (3) is rigidly fixed, which forms the inner wall of the one-piece crystallizer. The mandrel is made with a tapered section after the one-piece mold. The metal is fed into a one-piece mold, in which an annular crust of the billet is formed. A hollow workpiece containing an annular crust and a liquid metal is pulled into a split mold, in which a hollow workpiece is formed by closing the crust walls with simultaneous displacement of liquid metal by bending the outer wall of the crust of the hollow workpiece along the entire perimeter with calibrated strikers. The rocking mechanism of each wall of the molds is made in the form of supports (4, 5) mounted on two parallel horizontal eccentric shafts (8 and 9, 10 and 11) with a synchronous drive for their movement, on each of which a striker wall is fixed (6, 7) split crystallizer.
EFFECT: increased stability of the continuous casting process and quality of the resulting hollow billets.
