SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, specifically to products made of sheet anisotropic electrotechnical steel, mainly with an oriented grain structure, which can be used for the manufacture of various types of magnetic cores, including cores for transformers and other electrical machines. A sheet blank for the manufacture of magnetic circuits, consisting of a substrate of anisotropic electrical steel, a forsterite coating applied to it and a powder mineral dielectric coating formed on it. The powder mineral dielectric coating contains Mg, Si and Al oxides, the sheet blank on its surface contains grooves formed by a laser beam along its width and made in the form of tracks, while granules of ceramic particles of Mg, Si and Al oxides formed as a result of melting by a laser beam of a powder mineral dielectric coating are located in the grooves.

EFFECT: reduction of specific magnetic and electrical losses in the cores is ensured with simultaneous stabilization of the properties of the steel sheet in the manufacture of finished products.
