FIELD: testing techniques.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing techniques and can be used to determine the frictional properties of samples with a flat working surface on a flat horizontal support surface with different types of coatings. The device comprises a base with two ears with holes rigidly fixed on it. The base is made in the form of a disk-shaped disk with a hollow cylindrical recess in the lower part facing the tested bearing friction surface, and a test sample is placed in the recess of the base and fixed in the recess, having a shape and dimensions corresponding to the recess, in addition. The ears are located in a vertical plane parallel to each other and two holes are made in the ears coaxially to each other. An axle is installed in the holes of the ears with the possibility of rotation and fixation in the axial direction, a rod is also rigidly attached to the axle, and the rod is made with the possibility of installing and fixing weights of various masses, while the weights are attached to the rod by a pin. A rod is attached to the upper part of the rod, designed to hold the rod in an inclined position when determining the static friction coefficient, while a dynamometer is attached to the rod, fixing the resulting longitudinal force, and a horizontal position sensor.

EFFECT: simplifying the design and improving the accuracy of measuring the static friction coefficient.
