SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, in particular to multicore optical fiber (hereinafter – MCF). In some embodiments, MCF contains a set of cores surrounded by a shell, and coating surrounding the shell, while the refractive index of one or more of the mentioned set of cores is greater than the refractive index of the shell. MCF additionally contains a probe containing a probe tip connected to the distal end of MCF, and a lens located at the distal end of the probe tip. In some embodiments, the lens is made with the possibility of transmitting laser radiation from the distal end of MCF to create a multipoint pattern of laser beams on the target surface, and the distal end of MCF ends at the surface of contact with the lens.
EFFECT: obtaining multicore fiber for multipoint laser probe.
