FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to the organization of medical care for children, and can be used to select an algorithm for providing medical care to children with acute respiratory pathology. 13 main clinical criteria and 9 additional anamnestic criteria of the child are identified. Further, the identified indicators are evaluated in points in accordance with tables 1 and 2 contained in the description. The scores obtained are summed up. If the score is less than 10 according to the main and additional diagnostic criteria, the patient is shown an outpatient stage of medical care. From 10 to 17 points according to the main and additional criteria - hospitalization without indications for emergency medical care. If the score is 17 or more in the assessment of the main criteria or above 17 points in the assessment of the main and additional criteria, provided that the sum of the main criteria is not lower than 11 points in total - hospitalization with emergency medical care.

EFFECT: method allows to determine the tactics of further management of the patient and its routing as quickly, simply and highly efficiently as possible, to improve the quality of medical care by evaluating the complex of the most significant criteria.
