SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosol generating products for the formation of inhaled aerosol, when heated. The claimed product contains a set of components mounted inside a wrapper to form a rod with a mouthpiece end and a far end located higher along the flow relatively to the mouthpiece end. The specified set of components contains aerosol forming substrate and a filtering segment located lower along the flow relatively to aerosol forming substrate and containing fibers with a density of at least 12 deniers per thread.

EFFECT: invention allows for providing low efficiency of solid particle filtration, as well as reducing or eliminating the need for other complex or high-cost components in the wrapped product rod, such as an aerosol cooling element.
