FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to vertebrology, and can be used for anterior spondylosyndesis in the surgical management of congenital spinal deformity on the background of posterolateral hemorrhoid in children. Body of the hemivertebra and adjacent to it intervertebral disks are removed. Patient is turned on stomach. Semi-chimney half-arc and root are removed with a single unit. Multi-support metal structure is installed and corrected congenital deformation of spinal column. Posterior spinal fusion is performed. Dorsal wound is closed. Patient is turned back on his side, opposite to the semi-vertebra. Wedge-like defect is visualized and measured between intact bodies of superjacent and subjacent vertebrae. Bone graft is introduced, including a semi-arch and a root of a remote hemivertebra, which is modelled according to the shape of a wedge-like defect between intact vertebral bodies and areas of intact superjacent and subjacent vertebral bodies.
EFFECT: method allows increasing strength of anterior spondylosyndesis, reducing intraoperative injuries.
