FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: lightning-proof arrestor is disclosed, including a dielectric element made using dielectric, at least two main electrodes mechanically connected to the dielectric element, and containing at least one rod electrode inside. The task of the present invention is solved by using a dielectric element for an arrestor made using dielectric with the possibility of mechanical connection to at least two main electrodes and containing at least one rod electrode inside. A distinctive feature of the invention is that the dielectric element is bent in order to simplify the manufacture and installation of the arrestor at the place of operation, regardless of installation dimensions.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of changing the shape (configuration) of the lightning-proof arrestor; ensuring the fixation of the shape (configuration) of the arrestor, and reducing the discharge voltage.
