SUBSTANCE: object of the application is a device for making rods from a continuous strip (2) of material, containing a feeding module (3) for feeding a strip (2) of material, a guiding module (6) for directing a strip (2) of material, a compressing module (7) for compressing the strip and forming a continuous rod (CR) of the strip (2) of the material and the object feed module (8, 51, 70) for feeding the object (9, 50, 75) to the compression module (7). The device additionally it differs in that it is equipped with a system for adjusting the position of at least one cutting element (15, 16, 35, 36) in the cutting module (5) so as to adjust the width of individual strips (a, b, c), thus specifying the insertion point of the inserted object (9, 50, 75).
EFFECT: device differs in that it is equipped with a cutting module (5) for longitudinal cutting of a strip (2) of material into at least two separate strips (a, b, c), and the individual strips (a, b, c) are fed through the guiding module (6) to the compression module (7).
