FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely, to a nickel-based alloy applicable in the production of mineral wool. Nickel-based alloy applicable in the production of mineral wool contains, wt.%: Cr from 20 to 35, Fe from more than 3 to 6, W from 3 to 8, Nb from 0.5 to 3, Ti from 0 to 1, C from 0.4 to 1, Co from 0 to 3, Si from 0.1 to 1.5, Mn from 0.1 to 1, the rest being nickel and unavoidable impurities. Also claimed are a part of an apparatus for remelting and/or recycling glass, a part of an apparatus for producing mineral wool and a fiberisation plate for producing mineral wool, made from the above nickel-based alloy by casting. The method for producing mineral wool by internal centrifugation involves pouring a stream of molten mineral material into a fiberisation plate, on the peripheral band whereof multiple through holes are made, wherefrom the lines of molten mineral material are output and then pulled into wool under the impact of gas, wherein the temperature of the mineral material in the plate is no less than 1,000°C.
EFFECT: high strength in an oxidising medium such as molten glass.
