FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neonatology, and can be used to calculate enteral nutrition in premature newborns. The volume of the daily increase (ml/kg/day), the weight of the newborn (kg), the number of feedings per day are determined. According to the stated formula, the volume of a one-time increase in feeding is calculated.
EFFECT: method allows to determine the increase in the volume of each feeding by an equal amount during the day, allows to achieve the full volume of enteral nutrition faster in premature babies, to avoid complications.
