FIELD: logging production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to logging production. A flat raft unit contains rows of round timber stacked on lower transverse spacers, upper transverse spacers superimposed on top of round timber rows. The ends of the lower and upper transverse spacers, previously pressed along the entire length to the round timber in the rafting machine, are pulled together by rafting rigging. The rigging includes two rings with a ribbed inner surface for attaching to cross spacers. The rings are interconnected by means of chains through a turnbuckle equipped with lock nuts.

EFFECT: reduced labor costs for the manufacture and disassembly of the raft unit and the possibility of mechanizing this process.
