SUBSTANCE: invention relates to logging production. A flat raft unit contains rows of round timber, transverse spacers in the form of round timber. The rows of round timber are displaced relative to each other by the diameter of the transverse strip with the formation of grooves. Cross spacers are placed in the grooves. Rows of round timber are interconnected by flexible ties. Ties are equipped with connecting devices.

EFFECT: reduction of settlement, simplification of design and reduction of labor intensity of manufacturing a flat raft unit is achieved.
