SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, in particular to laboratory diagnostics. A method and a set of reagents for assessing the progression of chronic periodontitis are proposed. Multiplex PCR is performed in real time. In the presence of positive signals via the ROX channel, samples are identified as containing Porphyromonas gingivalis DNA, and in the presence of a positive signal via the HEX channel, samples are identified as containing Filifactor alocis DNA with a simultaneous positive signal via the Cy5 channel of human DNA as an internal positive control. If Porphyromonas gingivalis is detected, the progression of chronic periodontitis of degree B is diagnosed. With the simultaneous presence of Porphyromonas gingivalis and Filifactor alocis, the progression of chronic periodontitis of degree C is diagnosed.

EFFECT: proposed group of inventions makes it possible to identify the onset of inflammation and identify those patients who are predisposed to the progression of the disease in the future, and significantly reduce the time of the study and the timing of subsequent treatment.
