SUBSTANCE: light-guiding device contains a set of reflecting blocks directing light to irradiate an object and aligned along the direction of propagation of incident light, each of which includes the first light-guiding element reflecting light. Each of the many reflecting blocks switches between the reflecting and transmitting states by rotating the first light-guiding element. The periods of time spent in the reflective state differ among the many reflective blocks. In the reflective state, the light is deflected when the first light-guiding element rotates and scans the object. The scanning areas of the set of reflecting blocks are aligned parallel to the direction of propagation of the incident light.
EFFECT: ability to switch the scanning area and simplifying the design.
