FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and veterinary medicine and can be used for reconstructive surgery of the craniomaxillofacial region after tumor resection and for the prevention of local recurrence of cancer. The implant is a plate made of titanium alloy VT6 with round holes. The holes are filled with powdered anti-PD-1 preparation by compaction method. The size of the plate is determined by the specific clinical situation. The titanium alloy base acts as a depot for the anti-PD-1 drug and mediates the manifestation of the mechanical, frame and strength properties of the finished product. The anti-PD-1 drug mediates the stimulation of antitumor activity by the patient's immune system by suppressing immunosuppressive reactions. Tight compaction of the anti-PD-1 drug into the holes of the titanium base provides a prolonged release of the drug into the surrounding tissues after implantation. Thus, the proposed implant can be used both for osteoreconstruction in the treatment of cancer patients and for the prevention of recurrence of the underlying disease in patients after conditionally radical operations.
EFFECT: minimization of mechanical trauma to surrounding tissues during implantation to the patient.
