FIELD: ceramic industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical processing of products made of various materials and can be used in the processing of geometrically complex ceramic products. The method for finishing the outer surface of geometrically complex ceramic products includes installing a mandrel on a machine, installing a geometrically complex product on a mandrel, fixing the product, processing the outer surface of a ceramic product with a diamond circle, measuring and controlling the required parameters, finishing to a given wall thickness and surface roughness. At the same time, the finishing of the outer surface of a geometrically complex ceramic product is carried out by a diamond lap that is self-aligning normally to the surface of the product, which is fixed to the machine spindle. According to the control program, finishing is carried out to a given wall thickness and surface roughness. At the same time, the rotation speed of the product is 50-400 rpm with variable longitudinal feed of the spindle with diamond lap from 10 to 40 mm/min.
EFFECT: ensuring the uniformity of the clamping force, increasing the uniformity of the removal of the material along the curved surface when finishing the wall thickness of the product and surface roughness, as well as expanding the technological capabilities of the machine.
