SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for driving assistance and a driving assistance system. A method for driving assistance, which consists in obtaining information about the driver’s condition while moving with autonomous driving and issuing a warning to the driver through the controller when the controller determines that the driver is not facing forward, based on information about the driver’s condition. The driving assistance method contains: for autonomous driving, an automatic mode is provided, performed in a state when the driver releases his hands from the handle in automatic mode after the warning is issued to the driver, the automatic mode continues when the driver is facing forward for a specified time. The driving assistance system contains a sensor designed to detect the driver’s condition while moving with autonomous driving, and a controller designed to issue a warning to the driver when it is determined that the driver is not facing forward.
EFFECT: increase in the safety of the driver of the vehicle is achieved.
