SUBSTANCE: invention relates to building materials, namely, to cellular ceramic products, and can be used in manufacturing elements of barrier building structures. Method for producing gas-ceramic building materials includes the stages of preparing a charge by mixing water, a gasifying agent (hydrogen peroxide), and a diluting and fluxing additive (dry sodium carbonate) with amorphous silica rock — salica clay ground to a powdery state with a specific surface area of 5,000 to 7,000 cm2/g; loading the resulting mass into a plastic mould installed on a vibrating platform; foaming the mass under vibration for 3 to 5 minutes; extracting the porous raw material from the mould, drying and firing at a temperature of 900 to 920°C, at the following ratio of components, wt.%: said silica clay 64.5 to 65.3, said additive 0.6 to 0.8, said gasifying agent 1.3 to 2.4, water the rest.

EFFECT: advanced technology for producing ceramic products with a rigid cellular structure and high mechanical strength.
