FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the production of 7'-arylspiro[bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2,3'-[1,2,4,5,7]tetraoxazocanes] (1) by interaction of arylamines (aniline, m,p-chloraniline, p-fluoraniline) with spiro[bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2,3'-[1,2,4,5,7]pentaoxacan] in the presence of a catalyst LaCl3·6H2O taken in a molar ratio of arylamine:spiro[bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2,3'-[1,2,4,5,7]pentaoxacan]:LaCl3·6H2O=10:(10-12):(0.3-0.7), at a room temperature (20°C) and atmospheric pressure in tetrahydrofuran as a solvent for 4-6 h.
EFFECT: method for the production of 7'-arylspiro[bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2,3'-[1,2,4,5,7]tetraoxazocanes] (1) with high yield is developed.
