FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics, and can be used to assess violations of trophoblast invasion in women with spontaneous miscarriage associated with cytomegalovirus infection by examining the chorionic villous homogenate by enzyme immunoassay. In the homogenate of the villous chorion determine the content of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9). If the MMP-9 value is equal to or less than 19.21 ng/ml, a conclusion is made about a violation of trophoblast invasion.
EFFECT: method provides an opportunity to assess trophoblast invasion in women with spontaneous miscarriage associated with cytomegalovirus infection by determining the MMP-9 content in the chorionic villous homogenate.
