FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for surgical submeniscal access to the lateral tibial condyle. Soft tissues are incised in the projection of the lateral tibial condyle 1 cm distal to the articular surface and 1 cm proximal to the fibular head parallel to the tibial plateau for 3 cm to the Gerdy tubercle. The incision is continued distally at an angle of 100 to 110° along the anterolateral surface.

EFFECT: method leads to minimal intraoperative trauma rate, prevents the development of contracture in the postoperative period, reduces the time of recovery of the range of motion in the knee joint by eliminating the osteotomy of the Gerdy tubercle.
