SUBSTANCE: neutron capture therapy system comprises a neutron generation apparatus and a beam-forming unit. The neutron generation apparatus comprises an accelerator and a target. The beam of charged particles, generated when the accelerator accelerates, interacts with the target, generating neutrons. The neutrons form a neutron beam passing along the main axis. The beam-forming unit comprises a support part and a base part filled inside the support part.
EFFECT: prevented strain on and damage to the material of the beam-forming unit, improved flow and quality of the neutron sources.
