SUBSTANCE: group of inventions makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of therapeutic effects. A beam forming unit for a neutron capture therapy system is proposed, wherein the neutron capture therapy system includes a neutron generation device. The neutrons generated by the neutron generation device form a neutron beam, the neutron beam defines the main axis. The beam formation unit is configured to adjust the quality of the neutron beam, and it contains a support part and a main part located inside the support part, the support part includes a support frame, the support frame is formed by heating a workpiece of material using heating equipment, followed by forging into a cylinder using forging equipment, the cylinder being machined after rough machining and heat treatment.
