SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical instrumentation and can be mainly used in the manufacture of optical instruments based on the production of permanent joints of glass, ceramics and their chemical combinations with metal elements with high mechanical and thermal cycling strength in a wide temperature range. The method for joining a non-metallic element with a metal one by gluing consists in connecting the parts with the help of an adhesive composition with the addition of an inorganic filler, heat treatment to a temperature of 300°C for 2 hours, holding, and then cooling. The basis of the adhesive composition is epoxy adhesive, and titanium hydride (TiH2) is used as an inorganic filler, heat treatment, including heating and cooling, is carried out in a static vacuum. Heating and cooling are carried out at a rate of 1°C per minute, the part is held at the maximum temperature for 5 minutes.

EFFECT: simplification of the technology for obtaining permanent connections of non-metallic elements with metal ones with an increase in mechanical and thermal cyclic strength.
