FIELD: meteorology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and apparatus for changing atmospheric conditions, namely, to pyrotechnic aerosol-forming systems intended for active impact on supercooled clouds. Generator containing a pyrotechnic composition for impacting clouds is equipped with a Laval nozzle shaped in a specific manner, operating in a supersonic normal expansion mode.
EFFECT: increase in the effectiveness of impact — stability of the impact effect, an increase in precipitation, and lowered probability of hail.
