FIELD: radar systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the theory of super Rayleigh resolution, signal recovery and is intended for the resolution of individual objects reflecting the emitted signal by the radar in range while being in half of the impulse volume generated by the parameters of the emitted signal. In the claimed method, the analysis of the smoothed impulse response of the reflection medium of the signal emitted by the radar is used. With this approach the procedure for estimating the information range of the inverse filter regularization parameter is used to decide on the number of reflections of the probing signal, from which the most plausible amplitude value of the reflected signal amplitudes and their mutual arrangement relative to each other are selected. For this, the least squares method is used, and the result obtained is subjected to thresholding. This method is recommended for noise-resistant radar systems for various purposes.
EFFECT: increasing the resolution of the radar in range, which does not require a priori known information on the number of reflections of the probing signal and their mutual distance from each other.
