SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of biochemistry and immunology, namely to capsule polysaccharides of Streptococcus pneumoniae serotypes. A polysaccharide-protein-carrier conjugate is disclosed, in which polysaccharide contains a repeating link of the presented structure, and where the protein-carrier is CRM197; and where the conjugate has molecular weight from 1000 to 10,000 KDa. In addition, immunogenic compositions are described, containing the above-mentioned polysaccharide-protein-carrier conjugate and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Methods for induction of an immune response to capsule polysaccharide of Streptococcus pneumoniae are also described, including administration of immunologically effective amounts of disclosed immunogenic compositions.
