FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to purulent surgery. The laparotomic wound is closed and the sloping areas of the abdominal cavity are drained. The laparotomy wound is closed and the sloping places of the abdominal cavity are drained. Selective catheterization of the superior mesenteric artery is performed. An infusion catheter is placed superselectively, to which a Y-connector and a system for administering drugs are connected. Ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate is injected intraarterially through the system at a dose of 250 mg/100 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution at a rate of 40-60 drops per 1 min 3 times a day. Then a third or fourth generation cephalosporin solution is sequentially administered at a dose of 1/3 of the maximum daily dose and metronidazolol at a dose of 5 mg/ml in an amount of 100 ml every 8 hours. The course of treatment is 3-5 days.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the therapeutic effect by creating optimal conditions for the rapid suppression of pathogenic flora and restoration of intestinal function.
