FIELD: active carbon production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for producing active carbon used for the immobilization of bifidobacteria, as well as in the production of chemical pharmaceuticals and medicines. The method includes carbonization of feedstock, steam-gas activation at a temperature of 850-900°C, cooling and grinding of grains. Wherein coconut shells or peach or apricot pits are used as the feedstock, activation is carried out to a total pore volume of 0.8-1.2 cm3/g, and grinding is carried out in an ultracentrifugal mill using a food sieve with holes of 100-120 rotation of the grinding rotor with a frequency of 10-15 thousand rpm. Next, the powder form is subjected to screening with the separation of fractions of 50-80 microns.
EFFECT: increase in the adsorption activity of the resulting coal in relation to bifidobacteria.
