FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology; otorhinolaryngology; pediatrics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for the differential diagnostics of allergic and viral conjunctivitis in children in the presence of skin hyperemia and swelling of the eyelids. For this purpose, in children aged 2 to 15 years in the presence of skin hyperemia and swelling of the eyelids, clinical and anamnestic data and a general blood test are assessed. Next, the allergenic index (ALI), leukocyte shift index (LSI), and marker of viral infections (MVI) are calculated using the following formulas: IAL = (lymphocytes, % + 10× (eosinophils, % + 1)) / (neutrophils, % + monocytes, % + basophils, %)); ISL = (eosinophils + basophils + myelocytes + metamyelocytes + band + segmented) / (monocytes + lymphocytes); MVI = (lymphocytes, %) / (monocytes, %); MVI = (lymphocytes, %) / (monocytes, %). In the presence of the spring-summer period of the year, itching of the eyelids, viscous mucous discharge from the conjunctival cavity in combination with IAL values of more than 2.06; ILI less than 1.519; MVI less than 3.312 allergic conjunctivitis is diagnosed; in the presence of a clinical picture of an acute respiratory viral infection: damage to the respiratory tract, fever, headache, sore throat, parotid or submandibular lymphadenopathy in combination with IPA values less than 1.8; ILI less than 1.489; more than 3,516 MVIs are diagnosed with viral conjunctivitis.
EFFECT: invention provides a differential diagnosis of allergic and viral conjunctivitis in children in the presence of skin hyperemia and swelling of the eyelids.
