SUBSTANCE: invention relates to access control on user equipment (hereinafter – UE). A method for control of access on user equipment includes: start of an access denial timer, if the result of access control check indicates that access is denied; determination of whether update of RAN notification area (hereinafter – RNAU) should be started in case if it is considered that the access denial timer is in a non-operating state, in accordance with at least one of following conditions: whether the current state of established UE connection is an inactive state; whether RNAU timer started at UE input in the inactive state is in an operational state; whether a cell, in which UE is located at this moment, belongs to RNA notification area (RNA).

EFFECT: possibility of avoidance of senseless requests for RNAU connection to increase the efficiency of use of communication resources.
