SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to infectious pathology, resuscitation, laboratory diagnostics, and can be used to predict a high risk of severe COVID-19. In a sample of venous blood, polymorphism of the genes of the hemostasis system is detected by the polymerase chain reaction method. In the presence of homo- and heterozygous mutations: genotypes AA and AG G20210A of the FII gene and / or the absence of G10976A polymorphism FVII gene - GG genotype reveal a high risk of severe COVID-19.
EFFECT: method allows predicting the severity of the course of COVID-19 in the shortest possible time and escalating anticoagulant therapy by determining the presence of the G20210A mutation in the FII gene and/or the absence of the G10976A polymorphism in the FVII gene.
