SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for obtaining a cold-resistant planting material of sweet potatoes, relates to the field of agriculture and biotechnology and can be used to obtain a cold-resistant planting material. In the invention, the callus tissue obtained from the segments of the stem and leaf plates of sweet potato microclones is cultured in vitro under the action of reduced positive temperatures (+4-6°C) on a nutrient medium according to the Murashige and Skoog recipe containing the drug Mival at a concentration of 150 mg/l, and regenerant plants are obtained from living, hypothermic stress-resistant callus cells.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain regenerant sweet potato plants that are resistant to low positive temperatures.
