SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a heated aerosol generating product containing a heat indicator, which contains thermochromatic material, to the use of such a thermochromatic material in such a heated aerosol generating product, and to an aerosol generating system containing such a heated aerosol generating product having a heat indicator. The heated aerosol generating product contains a rod of aerosol generating substrate, while the rod of aerosol generating substrate is formed of aerosol forming material, which has a content of aerosol forming substance from 5 percent to 30 percent by dry weight, and outer wrapper, while outer wrapper is wrapped around at least part of the rod of aerosol generating substrate, and at least part of an outer surface of wrapper contains a heat indicator. The heat indicator contains thermochromatic material, while at least part of thermochromatic material is adapted to be subjected to visual change, when a temperature in the specified part of thermochromatic material exceeds a threshold temperature, due to which outer wrapper provides visual indication of that the temperature on the heat indicator exceeds the threshold temperature, while the threshold temperature is at least 175 degrees Centigrade.
EFFECT: visual indication to a user or visual warning of a user about the use of an aerosol generating product with an incompatible aerosol generating device and, in particular, with any aerosol generating device, which heats aerosol generating substrate to a higher temperature than is intended for substrate.
