SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a heated aerosol generating product and an aerosol generating system. The heated aerosol generating product for use with an aerosol generating device having a heating element contains a rod of aerosol generating substrate and wrapper at least partially surrounding the rod of aerosol generating substrate. Wrapper contains a heating control element on at least one wrapper surface, while the heating control element contains one or more circumferential strips of shrinkable material, while, when heating shrinkable material to a temperature above its shrinkage temperature, an inner radius of each one of several circumferential strips of shrinkable material decreases by at least 20 percent compared to an inner radius of a corresponding circumferential strip before heating. Part of aerosol generating substrate, lying under the heating control element, is deformed so that resistance to drag (RTD) of the aerosol generating product increases, while the shrinkage temperature is from 180 to 300°C.
EFFECT: prevention of the use of an aerosol generating product with an incompatible aerosol generating product and, in particular, with an incompatible device, which heats aerosol generating substrate to a higher temperature than intended.
